About AKCMM

The ASEAN-Korea Cooperation on Methane Mitigation (AKCMM) platform is a regional initiative dedicated to advancing methane reduction across ASEAN member states. It is part of the broader Partnership for ASEAN-ROK Methane Action (PARMA), launched by the Republic of Korea in September 2023 with support from the ASEAN-Korea Cooperation Fund.

AKCMM is implemented by the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) in collaboration with the ASEAN Secretariat and aims to support the development and implementation of methane mitigation strategies through institutional, technical, and financial frameworks.
